Usage and Maintenance Measures of Screwdrivers

1. Usage method
Align the specialized shaped end of the screwdriver with the top recess of the screw, fix it, and then start rotating the handle.
According to the specifications and standards, rotate clockwise to insert tightly; Rotate counterclockwise to loosen. (In rare cases, the opposite is true.)
A slotted screwdriver can be applied to cross head screws. But cross screws have strong resistance to deformation.
2. Maintenance measures
(1) The blade of the screwdriver must be properly ground, and the two sides of the blade should be as parallel as possible. If the blade is tapered, it is very easy for the blade to slide out of the screw groove when turning the screwdriver.
(2) Do not grind the head of the screwdriver too thin or into shapes other than square.
(3) Be particularly careful when grinding the screwdriver on the grinding wheel, as it may soften the sharp edge of the screwdriver due to overheating. Wear protective goggles when grinding.
